 Velocity Paintball League is an opportunity for players to play competitively every weekend at very little cost. It is a 6 week commitment much like softball and bowling leagues. You can sign up as a team or an individual.
There is a 12 team limit with a maximum of 7 players on a team. Games are 3-player center flag. Individual players are charged $75 to cover admission, referees and all day air on event days.
Play will be a best of three games match. Players will be allowed 1 full standard (180-200rnd) hopper and 2 full 140 round pods for each game. The top two teams in each bracket after the fifth week will advance to the final round on the sixth week and play on a field randomly chosen from the fields played in the preliminary weeks. Each team will play a best of three games match and the winner gets First place and FREE entry to the next league play.

Please keep in mind this is a league, this is for fun and to help introduce new players to the sport. Players or teams who cannot stay within the spirit for which the game is intended will be asked to forfeit with no refund.  Referees are neutral and there to keep everyone safe. We have a lot of new names and faces, we hope this league keeps you in the game!

Is it airball or woods too?

It is a combination of fields and it will be different each week

Why are there 7 players allowed on the roster?

Because it's a month long league and sometimes there will be people who cannot make every game day. This allows for enough alternates to show up.

Please keep in mind you DO NOT have to have 7 players. Only 3 people will be playing at a time.  If you only want to have 3 players, that's ok, but keep in mind you will not have alternates.

Is the tournament both days or just one day a weekend?

One day. You pick Sat or Sun for Fall League.

*If it turns out we don't have enough for one of the days it will be on the day that has the most people signed up.

Once you pay the $75, you don’t have to pay again for the other 5 weeks right?

Yes, $75 for the whole month. For every player that wants to be part of the league. We will even provide rental equipment if needed.

What will the teams that finish early or who's games don’t start later in the day, do? 

Play for FREE, team practice or walk-ons if available, as long as you are part of the league!

What information do I need to register?

Your first and last name, age, D.O.B., Address, Telephone Number, Emergency Contact and phone number, Last level of Tournament Play if any. (Ex. Rookie VSS)

How do I get on a team?

You can sign up as a team or an individual.
Teams are chosen from the registrants based on skill level and past tournament play.You don't have to be on a team to play, we will put you on a team.

We are looking for beginner players who are willing to learn the sport. The individuals that sign up are put on a team together with a coach. The coach is a player who has been playing for many years and guides players through games and practices. During the winter league 2009 the team of individuals actually came in second place!
 

Can I bring my own paintballs?

Yes or you can pre-order and Save! You pay when you play.

Orders MUST be in by Tuesday every week.

I just started playing paintball a month ago, can I play?

YES, this is for you. This is a perfect way for you to learn the game, meet other players, possibly form your own team and get a feel for what Tournament play might be like.
